Eddie is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, so after they lost in the first round of the playoffs, 48-32 against the Green Bay Packers, multiple listeners called in to check on how he’s doing.
The Cowboys loss made them the first team ever to lose to a No. 7 seed and the first team to be 12-3 three years in a row and not be able to make it past the first round of the playoffs. Eddie really believed this was their year, and he bought Raymundo a future bets ticket for the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl, which Raymundo thankfully cashed in before their final game this season.
Eddie admitted the loss was tough and hard to get over. The day after the game, he spent half the day by himself mourning the season. Right after the game, Eddie went to Bobby Bones house to record a podcast to really capture Eddie’s true emotions from the game. Eddie called it therapeutic to talk it all out, but it’s still been very hard on him, and he does not want to watch football for the rest of the season.
