Bobby Details Sleep Doctor Appointment

Bobby Bones went to a sleep doctor because he’s not sleeping well. He feels like he’s about to break soon since he can’t get enough good hours of quality sleep. He used to work crazy hours and not allow himself to get much sleep, but now, he makes sure to stop everything at a reasonable time and go to bed comfortably but still is only getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night.

He had the first appointment which was a consultation. He had so much brain fog from being tired that he couldn’t even remember his address when they asked. They told him because of how significant his problem is, it’s best for him to sleep at their office so they could monitor him. He looked around the room and saw there were cameras everywhere, which he was worried about. He’s not sure if someone will be watching him while he sleeps or if they just record him and look at it later. He doesn’t believe anyone walks into the room while he is sleeping and has a lot of questions about the process like what happens if he gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. He does not have anxiety during the day, but his Oura ring shows that he has high levels of stress while he sleeps. He doesn’t have night terrors, but sometimes has nightmares that are from PTSD from being jumped, having his house broken into and a gun held to his head. When those happen, it’s always the same nightmare and he dreams that someone is breaking in to kill him, so when he wakes up, he can’t tell the difference between real life and a dream. He’s going to sleep there for one night soon and is excited that he’s on a path to get better sleep.
