On this episode of Too Much Access, Bobby and Eddie head to St. Louis to visit their first MLB team – the St. Louis Cardinals!
Known as one of the best stadiums and organizations in all of MLB, Busch Stadium and the entire Cardinals organization did not disappoint! The guys had a chance to sit down with 2022 NL MVP, Paul Goldschmidt to talk about if he knows whether he hit a homerun immediately after it leaves the bat, his journey to the MLB, and even traded a souvenir with Bobby after he was given Bobby’s mic!
They also had a chance to hit the field with assistant coaches, Stubby Clapp and Packy Elkins to take some ground balls and see who could catch the most fly balls! And Eddie may or may not have broken a bone when attempting to jump for a ball while turning a double play.
Plus, Manager Oliver Marmol discussed managing in one of the best baseball towns in America, and the pressure that comes with it. Bobby also asked how many free massages the skipper has gotten with his extra perks!
