Lunchbox’s 2005 Altima has been on its last leg for a while, and it finally kicked the bucket for good this time.
He and his 4-year-old son went to get groceries and he asked him to go on the highway, so they did. When he got to the top of a hill going 60mph, it lost all power. He coasted his way to an exit into a neighborhood until it came to a rolling stop. He had to leave the car on the side of the road and walk a mile home with his son carrying the groceries. When he got home, he broke the news to his wife that the Altima was dead for good this time. It’s sitting in front of someone’s house, and he’s going to call a tow truck to get rid of it. He’s not sure what car he’s going to get next but wants to hold a funeral to say goodbye to his Altima.
