She was at a restaurant sitting at a two-top with a friend and when the server brought the bill, they informed them that 20% gratuity was already included. There was still a tip line option so they weren’t sure if they should add more money.
Because the tip was already added and the waiter informed them about it, Bobby Bones shared that was them saying they didn’t need to add any more money. He also shared that in situations like that, the expectation is not to tip anything else, especially since the 20% added is a fair amount. If they did want to add any more money, he suggested $2-$5.
