Bob Dylan announced that cell phones are not allowed at his concerts anymore. They think it might be because his live performances are rough, and he does not sing that well anymore. Bobby Bones shared their thoughts on how they’d feel if they went to a concert where no cell phones were allowed.
He shared that he understands if people find it annoying and don’t want to go to the show, but he also understands that it’s their show, so they make the rules. When he did his comedy tour, he did not allow phones because he didn’t want people to record segments of jokes, he felt weren’t finished yet because he was waiting for them to be ready so he could put them in the special. Bones does not think people miss out if they have their cell phones out, and it’s their choice if they want to record videos.
Lunchbox likes that Dylan is not allowing cell phones at his shows and wishes more artists would do it. He feels like artists just perform to cell phones now and no one pays attention, and they’ll never look back at the videos they record. Bones thinks it’s great for the artist if the fans have their phones out and record and post them because it’s free advertising!
