School is back in session for The Bobby Bones Show members kids!
Lunchbox’s younger kid is in Pre-K now and is learning the alphabet. Lunchbox started to sing it but was told by his kid that it was wrong and there’s a new way they are singing it now. He had no idea what he was talking about, so he looked it up and found it sang differently than the traditional way. At the end of the original way when we sing “Y and Z,” kids think that y’n or n’z is a letter. So instead, they sing it with a new melody that includes clapping during certain breaks between letters. The end now also says “Now I never will forget, how to say the alphabet.” It makes sense because the parts where the letters were once sung fast are now spread out, so it doesn’t sound like one giant letter. Lunchbox is having a hard time singing the new version because he’s so used to the original alphabet melody!
