Today’s Questions: Picking Up After Your Pet & Who Should Pay

Lunchbox and his family got invited to a friend's neighborhood pool. When they arrived, they were told it was $15 per person, which they had no idea about prior. Lunchbox didn’t want to pay it, but his wife told him they are trying to make friends, so they needed to. He wanted to know if he should’ve paid the fee or the person that invited them and knew it was a $15 per guest fee, or should he have to pay it.

Everyone agreed the family should’ve told them there was a fee per person to use the pool because that would’ve affected their decision if they wanted to go or not. Amy would’ve assumed that since they were invited that maybe every season, they are given a certain number of passes that they can use for friends. In that situation, she shared she would’ve paid but would’ve thought it was weird they didn’t say anything about the fee. After they left the pool, Lunchbox knew those people weren’t going to become their good friends.

In Morgan’s neighborhood, she keeps seeing the same guy walk his dog and consistently never picks up his poop. It’s a big dog and when it happens, he doesn’t even pretend to pick it up and just keeps walking like nothing happened. She’s watched it happen three times and there’s been times when her dogs have almost walked into it. She wants to know if she should say something the next time she sees him, but Bobby Bones thought it would be too awkward to bring it up. They suggested she just needs to let it go, unless she knows where he lives, then maybe she could leave him a note. Lunchbox shared that when he was younger and would not pick up his dog's poop, he’d come back home to the poop in a bag on his front porch.
