Nate Smith Is Finally Getting To Purchase His First Home

Nate Smith stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to share how the past year has been going for him, reveal he’s finally getting to purchase his first home and more! 

The last year has been zooming by for Nate Smith. He’s just scored his third number one song with “Bulletproof” and is opening for Morgan Wallen’s stadium shows. There’s been a lot happening in his life but he’s grateful for it all. Along with his fame, comes red carpet appearances, which he shared are always super hot for him. Getting hot is an issue he deal with regularly and he shared he keeps his house at 66 degrees, along with multiple fans going.  

Smith is opening for a few of Wallen’s shows and said that playing in a stadium is a whole different ballgame. He recalled a time when he ran all the way out to the end of the catwalk and was winded. He’s also doing his own tour and shared it’s extremely special having people show up just to see him. He shared his four favorite artists are Kurt Cobain, Garth Brooks, Michael Jackson and John Fogerty.  

Smith looked back at his first number one song “Whiskey On You” and realized everything had to go right for that to happen. They had to pick the right lead single, had to pop on socials at the right time for people to really get excited about it and more. His second number one song “World On Fire,” was another moment where he realized everything had to go right for that to happen. It originally wasn’t going to be on his debut album, but when he teased it on socials and it started going viral, they included it on the deluxe version, and it became the biggest song of his career.  

Smith shared he does not have a lot of time to himself right now and misses it. He misses being able to camp with his dad and if he has a day off. In this season of life, he’s just putting his head down and doing the work. He now has two tour buses out on the road with him and is about to buy his first house for the first time!
