She originally wanted to write a more heartfelt song about her grandfather, but then they switched gears and ended up writing a song about warning women about guys who are a red flag. The song will come out sometime next month!
An issue Abby deals with her music is she shares the same name as another artist named Abby Anderson, so she goes by Abby Leigh Anderson. But she still gets messages from people all the time from people saying they saw her perform over the weekend, but it’s the other Abby Anderson they are confusing her with. It happens so often that Abby’s considering changing her name to just Abby Leigh. In a couple days, everyone is going to come up with suggestions for her new artist name.
