They booked a house to rent for the weekend online but when they arrived, it turned out to be someone's house that was being lived in. The scammers listed the house for rent, made money from it, but the house was never an actual option of a place to stay. She contacted the website she booked through, and they made it right, found another place and upgraded them.
After they figured everything out, his fiancé had a great time celebrating in Nashville. But our listener wanted to make sure other listeners were aware of such scams if they were renting places to stay on vacation.
