Lunchbox broke the rule that you must wear pants if a guest comes in by staying in shorts, so Eddie decided his punishment and chose to have him drink the world’s strongest beer, Beithir Fire (bay-thir) which is a beer so strong it reportedly makes your tongue go numb.
It’s from 88 Brewery and Beithir means “Wild Beast” and in Scottish folklore it’s a large snakelike creature or dragon. Rated at 75% ABV (Alcohol By Volume). In comparison the average beer has 5% ABV, and it costs $60 per beer. This Scottish-style barley ale is brewed for two months and then undergoes fermentation and triple filtration
Lunchbox must take two sips to complete his punishment. He was nervous to drink it because it said ‘Fire’ on the can, so he tried a small taste and said it was bad and tasted like rubbing alcohol. But, to complete his punishment, he took a big drink from it. Eddie also tried it and said the second it touched his tongue he felt it in his nose because it was so strong. Raymundo then tried it and started coughing because it burned his throat but said “it felt good when it went down.”
