Eddie Gave His 16-Year-Old His First Curfew

Eddie’s 16-year-old drives and is starting to go out with his friends so he gave him his first curfew. He told him midnight, but Amy informed him that legally 16-year-olds can’t be out driving past 11 p.m., which Eddie was not aware of.

Growing up, Bobby Bones never had a curfew, but he never got into trouble. He used to work as a waiter five nights a week and wouldn’t get home until late, and he had nowhere to go after work, so he never had a reason to have a curfew. Amy had a curfew at her mom's house but never had one at her dad's house. When she was younger, it made her dad's house cooler, but now she looks back and realizes it was passive parenting. Lunchbox’s parents would tell him to be home by midnight, but it was never enforced, and he could just come and go as he pleased.
