According to new research from the Journal of Family Psychology, handsome husbands and their less attractive wives tend to be unhappier than couples where the wife is more attractive than her partner.
Eddie said it's true for Bobby and it's true in his own marriage, both of them agree their wives are more attractive then them. Bobby said that men are very visual creatures and they need the visual first before focusing on other attributes. He added that if the number 1 attribute is that they're super good looking, then the other things matter a bit less, men have to be attracted to someone physically to give them a chance. Whereas, he believes women are more developed and they won't be with someone they are disgusted by, however if it's on the border of him being super cute while also being a really good guy, then women will still go for it.
Lunchbox doesn't understand what it means that he acts bad because he's hotter than his wife. He believes that he is a 10 and she's not a 10. He doesn't think he acts bad like the study says, it just works for them. He doesn't think there are a lot of 10s in the world, but still think she's hot. Lunchbox added that his wife knows that women will try to get with him and she doesn't care. He doesn't believe he's less happy than Bobby or Eddie despite him being the hot one in his relationship unlike them. He knows his wife is hot, but he also knows he's hotter than her.
Amy admitted that she saw photos of her boyfriend at his parents' house from when he was in his 20s and she thought he was super hot. She never really thought about a younger version of him because the entire time she's known him he's been 52.
