Exercise researchers who have been tracking thousands of middle-aged and older people for more than a decade have determined an easy test to predict how many years a person has left.
It's the sitting-to-rising test which requires enough balance, muscle strength, and flexibility to be able to sit down on the floor without using arms, hands or knees and then to stand up again just as unaided. This movement helps determine overall fitness and potential problems that may typically be missed. Participants only get a perfect score if they're able to go from standing upright to sitting on the floor without touching anything on the way down or vice versa.
The Bobby Bones Show put this to the test, Bobby, Amy, Eddie and Lunchbox all tested it out. Amy and Bobby were able to accomplish the test without any problems, however Eddie and Lunchbox not so much. Lunchbox couldn't even sit criss-cross apple sauce so he definitely couldn't get up the correct way. Eddie attempted once and fell backward, but then on his second attempt he was able to get up a bit wonky.
