An 18-year-old listener named Virginia called into the Bobby Bones Show with a unique request, she wanted Bobby to endorse her and her boyfriend Landon for Homecoming Couple at Trenton High School in Florida.
At first, Bobby was hesitant. He didn’t want to put his name behind a vote and then have them lose. But after thinking it over, he decided to do it and recorded a video for Virginia to share at school. In the clip, he even mentioned some country stars and said they were all rooting for Virginia and Landon to take the title.
The team was surprised to hear about a “Homecoming Couple” tradition since most of them had only heard of Homecoming Kings and Queens. They can’t wait for Virginia to call back and share if Bobby’s endorsement helped them win!
