Mornings set the tone for the whole day, and according to a new study, coffee might be the key to starting off on the right foot. Researchers found that drinking coffee provides an immediate mood boost and can keep you feeling happy for hours. Just don’t overdo it, they recommend staying under four cups a day.
On the Bobby Bones Show, Amy shared that she’s a one-cup person, sometimes switching to decaf or matcha in the afternoon. Bobby, on the other hand, doesn’t drink coffee at all. Instead, he swears by hot baths to wake himself up in the morning, though his routine has a twist. He puts a towel on his back because the tub feels cold, but once the towel gets wet, he tosses it on the floor and forgets about it, much to his wife’s frustration. He also stretches to get his body moving and admitted he’s part of the minority who prefer baths over showers to start the day.
Eddie’s mornings are all about efficiency. He jumps in the shower, grabs coffee, a banana and boiled eggs for his lunch, and is out the door in 20 minutes. Lunchbox keeps it simple with a glass of water, his computer, and some fresh air outside.
Morgan takes the opposite approach with a full morning routine. Working out, walking her dog, eating breakfast, and making a refreshing morning “cocktail” with orange juice, coconut water, and seasoning. Eddie joked that he’d be exhausted after all that, but Morgan insists she feels energized and ready for the day.
The crew also laughed about the time Eddie tried to work out before work, only to give up after just three days.
