It’s early December, and The Bobby Bones Show are deep in the holiday spirit. At Bobby's house, the big Christmas tree is up, covered in lights, with a few fake presents tucked underneath. They don’t have kids yet, so the gift situation is pretty low-key, but the tree is the centerpiece. While the inside of the house is fully decorated, the outside remains bare with no lights on the roof, no glowing displays, just a few wreaths to hint at the season. Bobby admits he’s not putting any lights outside himself; falling off a ladder is not on his Christmas wish list.
Inside, the holiday decorations are already complete. There’s a large main tree and a smaller second tree tucked in another room. Bobby isn’t even sure if the smaller one is real or fake, but it turns out it’s fake, pulled from a box with ornaments already on it, so it’s basically plug-and-play. The main tree is real, and it fills the space with that classic Christmas pine scent, making the house feel festive and warm.
The conversation turns to others’ holiday decorating habits, and Morgan clearly takes Christmas seriously. She has four Christmas trees spread throughout her home: two in the living room, one in the bedroom, and one on the deck. This year, she and her boyfriend added a Harry Potter-themed tree, which has become their shared tradition. They both love the movies, and for them, it’s about more than just ornaments, it’s about creating something special together. There’s even a miniature Harry Potter train under one of the trees, making it feel like a magical winter scene.
Eddie chimes in about his own decorations, noting that he’s got lights inside, but the outside is still pending. There’s talk of the big 12-foot Santa and wreaths, but nothing on the exterior yet. The crew jokes about the risks of decorating, recalling past incidents involving ladders and rooftops. Bobby shares a story about nearly falling off a roof onto a boat trailer while helping his dad put up Christmas lights years ago—a mishap that landed him in the hospital. He clarifies, though, that this one actually did happen, just not with a dad and not doing Christmas decorations.
Lunchbox has lights up everywhere and his kids even helped with the decorations outside, he noted they were up on the roof with him having a blast. However, it was not a fun experience when it was time for all of them to come down from the roof, so he doesn't recommend that.
