Breakfast Spots:
Pancake Pantry, Big Bad Breakfast, Sky Blue Cafe, Loveless Café, Frothy Monkey, Monell's, Fido's
Some personal favorites from these hoppin' places include Sky Blue Cafe's PB+J Stuffed French Toast Pancakes, Pancake Pantry's Chocolate Chip Pancakes with homemade syrup, and Big Bad Breakfast's BBB Skillet.
Brunch Spots:
Stateside Kitchen, Hopsmith Tavern, Ruby Sunshine, The Sutler, M.L. Rose
Stateside Kitchen is known for their happening environment with a DJ and bottomless mimosas but be prepared to wait, Hopsmith Tavern kicks things up a notch with 2 for 1 champagne, The Sutler brings in a Bluegrass band for some live music vibes, and M.L. Rose has some great foot options for a low key brunch.
Dinner Picks:
Barcelona Wine Bar, Merchants, Rose Pepper, Hampton Social, Amerigo, Burger Up
If headed to Rose Pepper, definitely get their queso with house made tortilla chips, and you can't not try Amerigo's cheese fritters. If headed to Barcelona, get yourself a wine flight and don't pass on the patatas bravas. And you can't go wrong with some mac & cheese bites from Burger Up with their house made sauces.
Perfect Place For Drinks:
HQ Beercade, Yee-Haw Brewing Company, Old Glory, Pearl Diver, Chopper
If you're in town just for the drinking, you're guaranteed to have a good time at any of these spots. Chopper takes you to the islands with all the tiki vibes, HQ Beercade transports you to an arcade filled bar, while Yee-Haw Brewing Company has customizable moonshine flights and plenty of room for lots of activities.
For Those With Sweet Tooths:
Donut Distillery, Baked Bear, NoBaked, Tempered Cafe & Chocolate, HiFi Cookies, Gracie's Milkshake Bar
If you're a donut fan, Donut Distillery is the place to check out, they have mini donuts with all kinds of flavors plus the option to add your favorite alcoholic beverage to your taste test. Tempered Cafe & chocolates lets you match up chocolates with wine, and Baked Bear is a meal all on its own with cookie ice cream sandwiches.
Rooftops & Patios:
White Limozeen, Jason Aldean's, L.A. Jackson, Bobby's Rooftop Lounge, Sonny's, Von Elrod's, Virgin Hotel
Headed to Broadway? Be sure to check out Jason Aldean's rooftop for the views and the DJ for all the great music picks. White Limozeen is perfect for tourists who want to see Dolly Parton, because they have a massive statue of Dolly made just for photo ops. If you are looking for a fun environment but maybe afraid of heights, don't pass on Sonny's or Von Elrod's because they're always happening.
Experiences & Activities:
Pins Mechanical Company, Hatch Show Print, Arrington Vineyards, The Adventure Park, Centennial Park
If you like to Bowl, then definitely hit up Pins Mechanical Co for some duck pin bowling and really great drinks. If it's a nice day out, don't pass on a chance to go to Arrington Vineyards. The Adventure Park is sure to get your adrenaline going and Centennial Park lets to experience the Parthenon in all its re-creation beauty.
