Early in 2022, Eddie caused a whole lot of controversy when he told the show he was making one of his kids eat only bologna sandwiches until he got his grades up.
Eddie’s son was getting bad grades, so he made him eat only bologna sandwiches. He did it because he wanted to teach him a lesson that if he didn’t work hard, that’s all he’d be able to afford to eat. It was very controversial when Eddie first announced he was doing it. But now, he is happy to share that his son’s grades have come back from the school year so far, and he has a 3.5 grade point average.
His son told him he realized his grades matter and if he wants to go to college, he needs to get good grades.
